awww, now this is a topic I can get behind.....stank shoes....my contirbution to this thread is my lawn mowing shoes which smell like a bag of hot a$$ and are only suitable for garage placement...I find pleasure witnessing the pure look of unadultarated hate on my wifes face as she walks into the garage, the subtle sounds of her dry heaving...ahhh making memories that will last a lifetime

I just retired my yard shoes after 13 years..the soles completely came off for the 2nd time and I about did a face plant right onto the lawnmower motor Saturday morning. It was then decided they would be given a burial worthy of honor. So I lit a funeral pyre. You'd think nothing could smell as bad as sweaty old lawn shoes. You'd be wrong. Sweaty old lawn shoes when the rubber is burning...now that's a smell. :(

LCM is really cool.... We use it for mostly proteomic work right now, but hope to figure out how to make it efficient for DNA extraction. They have gotten subcellular in their accuracy, so it's just finding out how to get enough material.
