Ok, I'll be the first in this thread to say this isn't TOTALLY ridiculous. Could we switch out a safety for TD on running downs and play a sort of hybrid 4-4 defense? Maybe. But I'm envisioning that against two back, two TE, one WR formations, not on normal downs.

lol he lost all that speed now.. my granny is probably faster than he is now.

ACL doesn't affect straight line speed, but cutting ability. He's still beating Beason in footraces during workouts.

After you tear your ACL you tend to be a little slower than you once were. I'm not sure what happens after a second tear and third surgery.

Where are you getting this information? Before I tore my ACL I was clocked at high 4.5- mid 4.6's a year after my surgery I was consistently being clicked in the mid 4.4 to low 4.5 range...
