Someone/thing Is fuging With Me.

I had a few encounters with what I thought was bigfoot when I was younger so I always associate any bump in the night to it. I bet it was a ghost bigfoot.

Some people claim that Sasquatch posses a super natural-paranormal ability. Thats a another thread all together.

my old IT manager had something like this happening at his old house. He'd be sitting there watching TV in the living room, and then BANG, it would sound like someone punched or kicked the back door. It happened a few times, he never did find out exactly what it was.

Personally I think his house was haunted, but he didn't give a poo. Lights in the house would turn on and off by themselves. He also says he saw a shadow on the wall walking down his staircase one time. Then he had the issue of waking up one night with something "sitting on" him so he couldn't move. After gathering all his strength he pushed up as hard as he could, heard something THUD on the floor, but when he looked nothing was there. Yeah, not fuging with that poo.

I'd chaulk up your knocks to the paranormal playing tricks. Wheres TAPS when you need em.

Interesting thread, I know I believe in the supernatural. About five years ago the wife and I lived in another home that constantly made noises. The wife, kids and I would be sitting downstairs and it constantly sounded like someone was walking around upstairs, loudly, almost as if somone was walking heavily on purpose. When I went upstairs to investigate, nothing, zilch nada. Go back downstairs again and the sound would start again. This happened on and off over the course of a couple of years and we as a family kind of laughed if off. The last year we were in the house though things started getting strange, I would constantly have this feeling of something looking at me, and my wife reported the same thing. My youngest started refusing to sleep in his room because he thought something was trying to get him and my oldest complained that he felt uncomfortable going downstairs at night and always wanted us to keep a light on. I would normally write what my kids reported as just kids being kids but the problem was the wife and I were experiencing the same type of anxiety. All of these events came to a head one night and might I add the night we decided to move, when at about 2:30am I woke up due to feeling really anxious and I saw what seemed to be the silhouette of a little girl standing in the bathroom just beyond the door in our bedroom. I woke the wife up and she saw it to. The figure just stood there for about a minute and then disappeared....needless to say we put the house up on the market immediately and moved the hell out. I've never been back since our last day but I do have to say I am curious if the current owners are experiencing the same thing.

It's called sleep paralysis. It's basically that you awake while your body is still in REM sleep. Creepy poo if you don't know what was happening. This has been happening to me for my whole life and it was terrifying when I was a kid up until I found out what it was. Now it's kinda fun because I know that what I see is basically a dream and I can manipulate it sometimes.

One time I still distinctly remember was when I woke up and couldn't move and I was looking around the room and there was a crowd of people whose faces I could see and they were people I had never seen before. They were standing all around the room and talking to each other and looking at me. Fuggin crazy. One time I was in the middle of an exorcism.

I've had some strange sh*t happen to me as well.

My parents got this new house in a wooded, fairly secluded area right before I started college. I always feel uneasy around here, but one night pushed me over the edge.

I was getting ready to sleep when I heard these weird sounds right outside my window. It sounded like a small mammal was dying and scratching at something, but I live on the second story. I just wrote it off as a bird or something, and went to sleep. I was half asleep when I'm startled awake and I can't move. Of course, generally you'd say that was sleep paralysis, but I hadn't fallen asleep yet. There's a tall, shadowy figure standing over my left side, and I'm sitting here scared as I've ever been. Finally, I wiggle my right toes, and it's as if I unlocked my body from whatever was happening. I jumped up and yelled "F*CK YOU SATAN!!" Hahaha, dunno why I had the urge to yell that, but whatever. After about an hour or two of a cold sweat and constantly looking all around my room, I go back to sleep. A few hours later, I'm woken up when the lamp on my bedside table hits the ground and shatters at the base.

I dunno what was going on that night, and I guess there are possible explanations for everything that happened, but for it all to happen in one night? Scary sh*t, man.

And on top of that, the attic door in my bedroom will open itself a lot. It'll be securely shut, but I'll come home one day to a hot room and an open attic.

That's what I'm leaning towards. I walked around a good bit this morning looking for tracks. With the amount of rain we have had the past few days it wouldn't be a problem for someone or an animal to leave them. Couldn't find any that were out of the ordinary.

Glad you and yours are okay CoW.

This is the dilemma man... There are definite advantages to living in a densely populated area and one of them is having others to look out for you. Another is, with a security system, people are less likely to take chances, especially if you live within 5-10 minutes of first responders.

Living out in a rural area can be nice... You have your own space. Those same people that may look out for you in the city may be nosy as well, and you don't have to deal with them. Nature.

BUT, then you can have instances like this.

I'm a city-type of guy, but once I get where I want to be financially and my kids get a little older, I'd like to have a second property with a good amount of land.

But, I used to tell my mom the only difference between the city and country is if something happens to you in the country no one can hear you scream lol.

Hope you don't have anymore problems out there man, but from reading your posts over the years, I have a feeling any people messing with you may end up regretting it, lol.
