It may have been a high scoring game, but I thought that was the best defense anyone has played against the Spurs this postseason- I was really impressed with how well OKC's defense rotated and closed out on the Spurs 3 point shooters. The Spurs played a great game last night and yet OKC were in control almost the entire game.

2 things you wont see on Sportscenter tomorrow

1-People ripping Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, & Gregg Popovich apart for "choking" away this series to the Thunder after going up 2-0

2-People ripping Kevin Durant apart as a "poor sport" for hugging and embracing his family before the game was over. If that was LeBron....

Sportscenter won't rip them because it's obvious the Spurs lost to a younger, more talented up-and-coming team. The Spurs didn't choke, they were just painfully outmatched. Once their coach made adjustments the Spurs had no answer. Great run by San Antonio....Popovich got everything he could out of those guys.

The Spurs have already won four championships with Duncan and Popovich (three of those with Parker and Manu). The way they went out was unfortunate but they're already champions.

Congratulations to the 2012 NBA Finals winners the Oklahoma Thunder.

1-Duncan & Popovich have won 4 NBA Championships, 3 of those with Ginobili & Parker. Those guys aren't ripped because they are past their prime, played great, & fell short to a better team. But the main reason they won't be ripped apart like Miami is because they don't go around crowning themselves "King'' & declaring they are gonna win 5, 6, 7 Championships.

2-The game was over. They were up 3 possessions with under 24 seconds left. Kevin Durant gives his mom a hug & kiss immediately after EVERY game. LeBron tells his mom to shut the fug up & sit her ass down

It's too bad LeBron is gonna get ousted by an aging Boston team. It would've been fun watching the best basketball player in the world tear him apart in the Finals just like Duncan & Dirk have.

Don't sell Boston short. They are playing great & looking healthier by the day. I think OKC is a better team but I wouldn't bet against the Celtics.

The fact Pop and gang won 4 chips and still "choked" makes it worse. We should expect more from them not tell them rest on your laurels. If Im a Spurs season ticket holder, I dont care they won titles in 05 and 07, Im dissapointed NOW. 20 straight wins followed by 4 straight losses? A veteran championship squad shouldnt go out like that.

Keep grasping for straws to defend your precious LeBron and the Heat....you're not fooling anyone. OKC made the necessary adjustments in game 3, and SA wasn't athletic enough to combat the young guns....

Let's see if you are willing to make the same type of statement once the Heat lose tonight. My bet is that you make more excuses for LeBron.

4X NBA Champion & 36yo Duncan loses in Conference Finals; KT calls him a failure.

3X NBA MVP LeBron fails & chokes again; KT pulls race card & blames Wade/Spoelstra.

    • I feel the same way. Bryce hasn't proven himself to be so good that he would clearly lap anyone that we'd bring in the compete for the starting job. I think the team is actually afraid to do that. If Bryce goes down does anyone think Kenny Pickett is solid option to replace him?. We can control him for 2026 and 2027. The problem is 2028. Unless he takes a massive leap forward ability wise, I don't see how Carolina can justify paying B.Y. $50 million a year. So far, Bryce has not shown that he can CONSISTENTLY carry a team. He needs to be carried by a strong offensive line, running game, pass catchers and a respectable defense. If he's lacking any of those things I don't think we can make the playoffs in 2026/2027 unless the NFC South is as bad (or worse) than 2025. Unfortunately, athletes and agents have EGOs! When he has a chance for a 2nd contract his management team will probably insist on a "market deal" and feel insulted if they don't get one. That leaves a couple of options if his play hasn't significantly improved. 1) Let him walk and test the market. 2) Franchise him for the 2028 season if you're still not sure about what to do. 3) Extend him to a team friendly deal that pays him below the "current market" which would allow the team to continue to build a solid team to support him. 4) Over pay him and pretty much ruin any chance of becoming a consistent contender. The last option is the LEAST DESIRABLE ONE. The 2026 season is a pivotal season for Bryce and the Carolina Panthers. The success of the next 5-7 years could ultimately be decided on how well plays the next 2 seasons.
    • Thank god BigKat can't buy it because I'd be gone immediately
    • Drake Maye ended up putting almost 300 on them lol. Bryce was stunned from the beginning to end. I know that's an easy comp for the Bryce truthers but no one else put up those puny QB stats against them all season long.
