Otah's knee bothering him again

Now the question is who is gonna start by week 1? Bell or Campbell?

Good question. I don't know much about Campbell other than he was a very highly regarded Tackle but was placed at Guard by the raiders. Going back to Tackle may make him a starter. I'm still going to say Bell gets it for the Experience he already has from last year.

From what

From what I know, which is a debate for later, Bell was #1 with Otah and Campbell behind. Campbell has 3yrs exp. going in, so you could call him a vet. But unless Otah implodes, vet or not, Campbell could be the odd man out. Or try him on the left side?

Bell earned his spot. That does not mean however that he is a sure bet to start. He is in a great spot. Hope he has done the work to put up a good fight at keeping it. Although, if Otah has a miraculous recovery, he definately has the tools to take his spot back.

All this competition should make everyone better. I know, I know, that is a tired cliche. But with the youth we have to work with, competition is really the best medicine. The opportunity to start is right there. Work you ass off and it could be yours.

However this works out my giddy wins. And GOOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otah is upset that he is behind an UDFA, so he is just gonna call it a year and move on to another team.

I highly doubt that's the case. Otah may not play on a regular basis, but he never seemed like a douche. That would be a douche move if it's true. He's just injury prone. Should have traded him when we had the chance.

You hang out with Ron or something?

Ron doesn't "hang out." Work and family.

Ron sometimes shares his opinions, and I sometimes get to hear them.

Ron is in charge of who plays. If he decides a guy isn't going to play, then the front office does the best they can.

As I've said before, Ron is not a patient man. He's not patient with talented laziness, and he's not patient with experimental draft picks, no matter what round or what position. There are a number of other guys on this roster who aren't going to play for Ron this season. It's up to the front office to sort it out.
