Panthers event today at Carowinds

I just got back from there and they had half of the season pass parking lot blocked off for players and personnel. The park was crowded but did see and have a chance to meet Ron Rivera. Super nice guy and approachable. I didn't blab his ear off, just said it was nice to meet him and wished him the best for next season.

The only player I saw was Garry Williams. Fail.

its mostly just nighthawk and the hurler that are painful. i stay off of both of them. the rest are pretty smooth.

I haven't been there since I was a teenager but the hurler and thunder road were always rough.

off topic, but its been years since Ive been to Carowinds...is Thunder Road still there? That is one ride that will leave you with bruises.

they retracked thunder road a few years ago and made it a lot easier on the spine

What's Carowinds? Is that like Disneyland?

It's a Paramount pictures theme park. Disney land is more for young kids. Carowinds is more for teens. Lot's of roller coasters etc.

Not anymore though, the company that owns Cedar Point now owns it.

I'm sure Panther players fit fine. I have seen some large people fit onto rides before. I had a very large fellow behind me on the Intimidator last year...I was surprised he fit.
