Silatolu and Bell

This.

I had such HIGH hopes for Otah...now, I would be surprised if he is in the NFL in 2014. I want him to be a Panther but even my 11 year-old son asked me on Thursday, "What is wrong with that Utah guy?" I laughed and said, "Otah?". He said, "Yeah, the big guy you used to like."

I told him, "I am not sure son".

People are so stupid in regards to Otah. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. The guy is twice the football player that Bell is when he's healthy, which granted hasn't been much. The poll option was who would WIN the position... which seems to denote that all parties involved would be healthy. If Otah is healthy, he tears every other option we have to shreds on the field. It's just that simple.

The most probable answer is Silatolu and Bell, since I don't foresee Otah remaining healthy, except I didn't vote for both of them. I voted Silatolu and Campbell. Campbell is a monster but he had a brain disorder and has reading problems, he needs special coaching and wasn't getting it in Oakland. I think with our "teaching" coaching staff he stands a pretty good chance of living up to his physical gifts.

For Vagrant, your optimism is admirable.

Yes, Bell sucked last year, but I expect significant improvement from him this year. Whether that would put him close to a healthy Otah is questionable.

The overriding factors for me (and perhaps the coaches) are dependability and continuity. How could anyone have confidence that Otah will play more than a few games?

Do you think TD should be the camp starter at WLB? Should he take needed reps from the younger guys? Didn't think so.

If Bell shows no improvement, then there may be no choice. But Otah is certainly not a slam dunk selection.
