Ghosts

in my observations, most people refuse to believe in ghosts due to their religious beliefs.

this obviously doesn't include everyone.

Many refuse, cause they simple don't want to wrap their minds around the possibility of spirits.

I was like you, earlier in my life. Not believing. Experience changes one's perspective.

The evidence is all around us. Some places more than others.

Most people ignore what is around in the first place.

Demons are real too. Do you deny that?

Well my religious beliefs are wide open so it wouldn't apply to me but I get what you are saying. And Demons? I don't deny anything exists, but I certainly don't believe in them. For me to deny that anything exists would be foolish and close minded. Honestly looking through this thread, I "believe" that what Azazel posted (as complex as it sounded) makes the most logical sense to me.

I believe that the human mind and life around us is much more complex than we could ever grasp, and the need for something on the other side (no matter what that may be) causes the brain to manipulate what we see, hear, and ultimately believe. There may be something on the other side but I think that if there is, it is far different than anything we as humans could ever begin to comprehend.....then again there very well could be nothing at all.

Let me say, I am NOT religious.

With that out of the way, I have seen what I can only describe as a demon. I wasn't high, or undrr the influence of anything. I also wasn't in a low point in my life.

Up until that experience, I've never really considered the existance of demons. I had experienced other spiritual activity before, but once again, never thought I'd see a demon, or know if I'd be able to know what i'm looking at.

While it wasn't an experience that was directed at me (happen to see it on the way home from work), it definitely put a scare in me.

I've also seen a few people that was possessed.

For what it's worth, I'm not scared of experiences/encounters with spiritual activity, but I know I'd rather not see a demon again, for the rest of my life.

I once lived in an apartment that had a ghost, never believed in them either until all the events happened. I even went to the management to inquire about the strange occurrences. They wouldn't tell me anything however, one tenant told me that previously an old man that lived in my apartment died in there and his son moved in under the same sir name and never informed the management. Too many things to tell in this little space but I now believe.

Living on a barrier island, am literally surrounded by spirits every on Galveston Island.

My home is haunted by multiple spirits.

Nothing extreme, but activity abounds.

For example, when the family was living in the Garage apartment out back, there have been many instances where I can hear someone climbing the stairs to the apartment, when I open the door, no one is there.

There are two different spirits in our main home.

The home has been in the wifes family for three generations. Everyone living here has experienced activity.

My step daughter has a ghost that follows her from home to home. She has more stories than one can count.

There is a ghost in the building where I work. The story that is told, is that there was a young girl, raped and murded in the offices upstairs in the back, which are now not used, except for storage. I've heard a young girls voice on several different occasions, when I'm the only back there. Another coworker that has since changed jobs, is much more in tune with spirits than I am... He's had a conversation with the girl.

The wife and I have room 503 of the hotel Galves rented for next Valentines day.

This room is the most haunted place known on Galveston Island.

I'm not in documenting the activity. I'm not here to convince others it's real. I know it's real. Most spiritual activity isn't dangerous to yourself or others. Most of these spirits are simply not at rest for a number of reasons.

I've also have had many experiences while I lived in Anchorage, but the activity there is nothing compared to the activity on Galveston.

Good luck.

I want to hear about the Demon activity you saw on your ride home. Not to pick the story apart ar discredit it at all, I am just curious and seriously want to hear about it. Like I said, I don't believe but I am open to the possibility of just about everything in life so the more I hear, see, read the more educated I become.

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
