Any word on Stew's injury?

Recommended Posts

It was just his calf, nothing serious at all he could've gone back in if it wasn't preseason.

I am well aware that this is what has been reported, and this isn't towards you B Wood...

But I DVR'd the game. At no point did his "calf get stepped on"

On the contrary, when he went down he was holding his knee and NOT his calf! We should all be worried to an extent.

He will probably have an MRI on the knee as a precaution due to the XRay being negative. And for those of you paying attention, you don't get your leg X Rayed cause someone steps on your calf.

He was dancing around on the sidelines later in the game, so it's a little less to worry about.

As we all know, any knee injury for a RB is significant. Even If it turns out to be a minor sprain. If we're smart we rest him until the season begins.

Rivera said his calf got kicked and that it was just a little scare. Stew also said he was completely fine on his twitter.

No I get that you aren't trying to be a jerk, I just wish I had a replay of the injury because I don't know why they would both make that up.

Not only was he dancing around, but he was also still in full pads on the sideline after the injury.

If they were even remotely worried there was something wrong they would have at least had him take off his pads if he came back out onto the sideline like that and would have ice on him

I think they're trying to keep it in house. I can assure you that I re watched the game and more specifically every play with J Stew. Never got calf kicked/stomped. The injury occurred at 3:08 left in 1st qtr. clearly grabs his knee, then seen mouthing "my knee" on sidelines to a trainer.

There are lots of reasons why they wouldn't say it's really his knee. I'd bet my life that he will be given "days off in the coming practices"

It's all good, like I said he was dancing later so... It's probably str8.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
