Ron Riveria can't coach..

Awesomeness!!

dumb keeps on getting dumber.

Tell Fox that. He walked into a very similar situation last year and took that team to the AFC Championship game.

Rivera can't win a close game. He doesn't know how. Finishing a game and winning comes down to coaching. A good coach loses 1 or maybe 2 close games over a season, but not all of them.

8-8 in a weak division. you put that team in a division like the nfcs and they don't win more than 6. they went into the playoffs by default.

oh...same situation? what changed in their offense from the year before? nothing. same OC. same QBs.

and if you think that fox had anything to do with releasing orton and starting The Golden Calf of Bristol you're incredibly naive. in fact if you think that fox did much more than act as a figure head and elway wasn't running the show down there you're naive. fox was just along for the ride.

if you think that rivera walking into this situation...with a new system on both sides of the ball and a rookie QB...is the same situation you're just being blind.

moving on from fox was the best thing that this franchise has done prior to drafting cam newton. that man was holding this team back in a big way.

the only way that his team is going to be relevant this year is that they lucked out and landed peyton who probably only took the gig because it was the only situation where he would have no problem taking over the whole offense. i mean it's not like they have some offensive guru as OC.

the team has moved on from fox...and they are better for it and happier with the direction they are taking. it's ridiculous that there are fans still holding on to the boring and incredibly mediocre world of foxball.

rivera is new to being a HC. he'll get his groove. we'll find that he'll find it much sooner than later but it wouldn't be a bit surprising to me that there will be those posters living in the past.

Ive said it before and i'll say it again. Move him to DC and sign a real HC.

Yes...move him to DC, or even better let him help Jackie Miles wash jerseys.......A ceratin team in Cleveland thought the same way and fired Belichick, who incidentally is so anti-rah rah he looks like he's on prozac. Give Ron time.

Why do people think that Belichick shows no emotion?

Go watch his A Football Life series from last year and the guys chews his guys out and throws a fit constantly.

Not taking the OPs stance, just saying, Belichick isn't the stoic statue some here would have you believe.

Riveria :D doesn't have a clue how to win a close game.

Fox was and is the man. It's ridiculous that Hurney got a pass and Fox got fired.

Hurney had to sell off '08 and '09 to help Fox keep his job, yet fans think Hurney was the reason the team couldn't win back to back seasons...

I said it last year..I'm saying it again this year....I hope I'm wrong but I fear I'm right. This guy can't coach a lick. He is always outcoached by everybody, including today, and we will never be a winning with him.

What's it like to post the shittiest thread in huddle history?

Not only that, but what's it like to only average 1 slice a pie for every 1 thousand post LOL. You must post a lot of bullshit.
