Random NFL Fact of the Day with Johnny Rockets

Johnny Rockets

Cardinals have played the Seahawks twice, Rams twice and Browns once in their last ten regular season games. Of those eight wins, four came in overtime. All of the eight wins were by one score or less (defeated the 49ers by as few as two, defeated the Cowboys by as much as six).

This is the definition of fool's gold.

Although the Giants have lost four of six, at the end of the 2011 season they won three of their last four. Their last two games of the season were especially impressive as they outscored the Jets and Cowboys a combined 60-28.

Over the last 10 regular season games the Arizona Cardinals are 8-2 while the NY Super Bowl Giants are 4-6.

I have no idea what that means, however I found it interesting when you think about the current reputation the two teams have (especially AZ).

Now please continue with your day....

You were saying?

Say what you want but all the Cardinals do is win. Doesn't matter by how much or in what fashion a win is a win. I am not a fan or a believer that they really are that good but facts are facts.

You know the only team that had a better record than the Cardinals in their last 10 regular season games?............

The Patriots

*and BOOM goes the dynamite!!!!!

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
