it should have been said privately behind closed doors but i'm just glad something was said...i'm sick of Cam's pouting...it's ok to hate losing but don't act like an 11 yr old about it...he's expected to be a leader for this team and he needs to start acting like it...rally your guys when things aren't going well...don't just isolate yourself on the bench...give your coaches the respect of looking at them when they are bringing in-game notes over to you...don't just stare off in space...it's time for him to grow up

Do you realize that many players, including QBs, sit with towels on their heads? Some even mope when they lose...Imagine that...

The question I need to ask is, why Cam having a towel on his head bother so many? Don't you feel you're way to anal about everything your QB does?

Do you have a problem with ALL players who where towels over their heads or is it just Cam? I have never seen so much drama created over someone doing whatever one else does. Is Cam the player the media has turned over to you folks to beat up on? Cause there is simply nothing wrong with what he did..

It seems the problem is more you than Cam.

Rambled on about men becoming boys, made an analogy about handling Cam the way he does his son, etc.

Maybe he needs to practice what he preaches. IMO, he has serious issues. It's clear he took his anger out on the teammate he knew he can get away with screaming at just like he did with Jimmy. I'm sure those in the media were quite happy it what Steve did to Cam since they needed a second season slump story to run with. Steve gifted them quite well, especially considering it took less than a season for Steve to kill Jimmy's self-esteem and QB career by screaming at him in 2010. Do you know how humilating that is for a QB to be publically humilated by a receiver whose job it is to work for and with him? Especially, as a young rookie?

Some on here wonder why Luck ran like "Forest Gump" back to college instead of coming out in 2011 so the team could pick him. Can you imagine Steve blowing up on the media's chosen QB? You know that reporter would have either kept the incident to himself or spun it to paint Steve as still struggling with his anger management issues.

You know them in the media are quite selective on who they are going to create drama around. This incident would have been either dead in the water or spun to paint Steve as the troubled one picking on Luck.No way would you be having folks scream and claiming Luck deserved it...That's why I call folks rejoicing at Steve's behavior HYPOCRITS.

He's as teammate just like Cam. Was Steve giving a crash course on doing something not even he was able to do...LEAD by example?

I saw the game...Steve was already showing his hot head to the opposing players for no reason and costing his team yardages. Where is the anger and outrage over that by some of you?

You and I know Harbaugh would have rip Steve a new. Harbaugh is a QB coach.

And why are you folks forever second guessing everyone as soon as ish happens?

Man, talk about the dog and his reflection in the water mentality.

your acting like this is the only time cam has done this...he's been doing it since week one of last year...whenever things go bad it's like he doesn't have any clue how to handle adversity as a leader...he wants to go be to himself on the bench instead of engaging with his teamates...talking with his WR's about what coverages are being played...how to fix problems...when he sits to himself on the bench everytime things are going bad to me it seems like it's his way of distancing himself from it...almost like he's saying i'm not part of this...it isn't my fault

don't get me wrong i love cam newton and i believe in him but it's time for him to begin to mature and grow as a leader

Wait....so it's okay to rant, rave and behave childishly, about someone behaving childishly? Cam needs to mature most definitely. That's apparently going to take time for him and that's okay. We all develop differently. What I have a problem with, is that if he is your little brother, why embarass the family trying to give your little brother the guidence he needs.
