I know nothing about him and didn't see the game, but did a quick read up on him and what all I could gather was he has elite speed but not a good tackler at all. I don't know he seems like he cold be impressive for some reason. Would love to have an elite top tier CB

He isn't a good tackler, but neither is Chris Gamble.

And I don't want my corner doing a lot of tackling anyways, that means he isn't covering well.

i'd prefer a solid tackler to help seal the edge on runs to the outside that has the ability to be a better cover corner personally.

He was a bit inconsistent last year. Has definitely stepped up his game this season. What i don't get is that he is a very good CB yet i see him rated 2nd-4th round. I don't get it. Either way sign me up!!

That is true to an extent but CBs are going to be called to tackle whether the ball is thrown to their man or not. And you can't expect someone to shut down their opponent on every play, so tackling will come into play.

I haven't seen him enough to know about his tackling skills, just watched a little bit of that game last night.

As much as I'd love to take a CB in round 1 or 2, it probably isn't wise. We need to aim for guys in the 3-4 range and maybe come away with some like Casey Hayward like the Packers did this past draft. He seems to be doing solid in GB.

I thought it was very foolish of us to pass on Hayward. With that being said we don't have a 3rd this year. We're going to have to hit HR's with our first two picks.

I really doubt Trufant will last past the second when all is said and done. He has above average size and athleticism, and EXCELLENT coverage ability....

I was a die hard Jayron Hosely fan and I wish we would've taken him in the 2nd (still love Silatolu) but just look how well he's panning out with the Giants.

Straight up shut down Steve Smith and got a pick against us. That dude would be our starter no doubt if we drafted him.
