Not sure if this has been posted (if it has, please delete).

This segment was on NFL countdown on ESPN yesterday.

I know the story has been discussed here, but I hadn't heard about Richardson's trip with him. He may not be the most football savy owner in the league, but the man runs a business that any of us would be proud to work for.

oh crap. i hate being a softy sometimes. literally got me tearing up.

as a parent, you remember all these fears when the baby is in the womb worrying (even though you probably shouldn't) "what if there's something wrong with the baby?" unfortunately it happens and i hate it for them to be going through this. it looks like they have a healthy grasp on it all. they have been definitely in prayers of mine. i don't know them, but that doesn't matter to me. whether it's someone i know or not, i hate seeing people go through things like this (and please don't turn that into somekind of religious debate...this isn't the place for it, imo.)

i had seen and read other reports about it but what really got me was then they started talking about richardson getting involved. there's no way i am ever going to say anything disrespectful about that guy. he's got a big heart for his players. bitch about him all you want about his role in the CBA or ref talks, but there's no denying that when it truly matters he does what he can for his own.

    • I don't think we have been good yet. We were generally effective yesterday when we got scoring opportunities but struggled to move the ball under a heavy blitz and new receivers who he is still trying to develop better chemistry with and a makeshift line. And last week the comeback was impressive until it fizzled out. But week one we were bad and we have way too many penalties and picks and the occasional WTF play. We were better yesterday and the offense had no turnovers although special teams did. We are a work in progress as any panther fan would expect. I think we have the most rookies on our roster compared to any other team. No one thinks we are all that amazing or thar Bryce is the answer for sure. But we aren't the worse either and this constant negative narrative really is ridiculous and drowns out everyone else. I doubt I will be here much especially if we lose. The conversation is so negative and constant I don't even check in until Wednesday. But I will be here like always since 2004. Just not engaging in conversations with folks who just want to bitch and complain over and over with anything they can find as if that makes things better or they are saying something we all don't feel at times. Most of us realize this is year 2 of a rebuild and there are ups and downs. You have to be comfortable on the roller coaster. But anytime you point out the good you get inundated with negative crap as if we didn't see it too......
    • 🤣 Nick is the bed sore on the backside of our defense! If we are going youth movement like Canales says, he should be relegated to back up special teams coverage.
