Armanti Edwards plays from Sunday.

Like I said even if I'm the only one. Don't care. The season is long and some of our success will be tied to him as well as pilares. Or was his td off the screen lame too. Redskin fans piss me off

Who are you calling a Redskin fan?

The fact that people don't want a player on their team to succeed is mind boggling.

It's not that we don't want him to succeed. It's that he literally does tip the defense off when he's on the field. Not to mention the fact that his roster spot could be used on a decent FS or extra DB....

That would be like saying you want to see more of Jimmy Clausen. Starting Jimmy and rooting for him means Cam sits and the gameplan changes.

Playing Armanti means a better WR sits, takes reps from Cam.

Nothing to do with rooting against him. He has been given chances

I like anything that gives us a chance to win on sunday. If it weren't for 'incidental contact", ae would have been the star of this forum monday. As long as he keeps up competitive ways, I like him. Always have. And no, I am not an app st. fan. But I like him and pilares. They opened up some new avenues on this team. Nobody sees them coming. and if they do maybe that can take pressure off our key guys. He's readable for no other reason than we don't use him enough. Or, we don't have him on the field enough. Doesn't mean give him the ball on every down. Just hope to see the weaponry open up more. And contrary to what others might think, i believe he and pilares give us that opportunity. But I'm not a coach and never claimed to be.

Nothing is disguised though. If he takes the snap you know he's throwing the ball because otherwise we would have DeAngelo or Stew take the snap. If he's in the slot it's almost certainly going to be a screen of some type. Where's the disguising in that??

Armanti has 2 wildcat runs in his career and they went for 5 and 7 yards. But by all means...keep the DeAngelo wildcat going. Wouldnt want to tip off the defense

Alternatively we could rip the entire wildcat section out of the playbook, burn it, and lobotomize the coaches to make them forget it exists.

I'd be in favor of that...

When its used right (aka unpredictable) you can get great results like the Nannee screen pass to Cam, or Armanti throwing single coverage to Smith. When its used with DeAngelo its pointless

We do enough tricky poo already. The wildcat almost universally takes the ball out of the hands of our biggest weapon on Offense.

No thank you.

I like the play and, if he can deliver, I love the versatility of the limitless gimmic plays that AE can provide. Give the D's a lot to plan for . an all that jazz.

That being said, that throw wasn't very accurate. We are lucky it wasn't intercepted.

The throw looked perfect to me. Over the top, the db didn't appear to even touch it. if Smith hadn't of been tripped he most likely would have caught it

I'll take Armanti wildcat packages over Cam Newton option plays all day. You'll be saying the same thing when Cam goes down in one of those piles and doesn't get back up.

lol....we had what some have statistically claimed was the greatest rushing attack in NFL history in 2011.

That SAME line up has been on the field for 2 games this year and averaged 200 yards rushing.

Yet you think Armanti gives is a better option than THAT?

Maybe if Stewart is hurt he can get some looks. But when we are healthy, our read option attack has consistantly proven to be the best rush attack in the game.

And what Gross said is true, Cam is a much better QB when he is rushing.

I don't like either. Why do I have to pick one of those instead of preferring something more...normal.

Don't mistake me - I am not a fan of the cute tricky offense we are preferring.

I want less option looks and I don't want to see that stupid fuging wildcat at critical game junctures again.
