MrTouchdown, question for ya... Why are you such a douche man? Everything you say is negative, and especially if I ever say anything at all. There are a lot of people that liked that play call and a lot people that wouldn't mind see Cam take a route to the endzone when a defense isn't expecting it.

Get over yourself you pos... Im sorry you hate AE that bad. I'd be willing to bet that you would rather have AE fail than seeing the Panthers win a ball game.

I will agree that Stewart seems to be the key to the running game, but there is something to say for players making plays. Defenses are keying in on the plays faster then last year, they don't seem as fooled for sure. Go back to the Giants game (I know....no Stewart!), those lineman knew the play before Cam even got the snap. I'm not saying totally trash the option, but throwing some pro sets into the mix would only make this offense more unpredictable being that we can run and pass out of the option as well....

With Stewart out I agree.

But the NYGs didn't respect an inside read with Stewart out. They knew the reads would go outside.....so if they play all out they get into the running lane or rush Cam. Rivera even backed that up. Just bc Williams can take an occasional one inside doesn't mean teams will respect it bc he needs a big hole inside and goes down easy.

If Stewart played against NY, Giants gameplan would have had to of have the read and react mentality applies more......bc whether he runs or not Stewart provides a inside option read threat. They can't pass rush as hard or they give up big chunks. Helps the OL as well.

With just Williams, D gameplans are just to attack. If Carolina runs it to the outside where they already are attack as pass rushers.

Read option is great with Stewart, and everyone gets involved. Without him, Carolina needs to adjust and Chud refuses.....but the option game is good

Look I get it, he's not a starting WR, but we brought him in for his versatility and gimmick plays. Let him run in space off a short pass and see what he can do. He's likely gone after this year and we are 1-3, I just don't see why it would hurt...

I'd rather them give Joe Adams that work on screens.....or even Pilares

Big picture in all, reps serve a better purpose working with him.

Last year the option worked amazing to. NFL defenses, and more importantly MOST NFL defensive coordinators will catch up to gimicky things like this. What's wrong with just lining up in a pro set and running to set up the play action? Or rolling Cam out on bootlegs with a option to tuck it and run, or pass the ball...

I'm just being silly.
