Is it normal?

Is it normal for those of you who play video games, to play them in all your free time, all day, every day only to stop to eat, for bathroom breaks, and to sleep unless football is on of course.

That's the norm for me unless someone actually wants to throw the football or play a pickup game.

Is it similar to an addiction for you? Doesn't it make you tired? Does it effect your relationships?

Not really.. I do some house work and clean up,do p90x then just play games.. I don't do it because im addicted.. I do it because I can't find anything else to do. Relationship wise.. I dunno .. had a bad one a year or so ago so I haven't even tried to look again since then so I don't really remember.

I think it's a generational thing. I've never played video games, couldn't tell the difference between a PS, XBox and whatever else there is out there. I have a couple nephews, one of which plays all the time, and he has grade issues at school. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but if he were my kid the games would put away until the grades came up.

I don't know, I just see the draw. I can find so much more to do with my time...

I will say this about them, they improved the poo out of my hand-eye coordination. Kids that play sports .. most of the better players play video games.

Addicted? No

Makes me tired? No

Does it effect my relationship? No

I played A LOT of video games during college. I worked 20-30 hours a week and graduated with triple major and 3.4 GPA and while in serious relationship. Video games and drugs are not the same even tho some people making it out to be.

    • 100%. He's a serviceable starter but not a shut down CB by any means. Not too bad for $5.25M /year.
    • Crap on a cracker! I didn't see that from the original video. That's nasty.
    • It is like he just can’t be bothered with that stuff.    But seriously, rebuilding your entire physical operating procedure is so difficult that very few can do it. You have to get it in you so deep that you don’t think about it. Most people fall back to their comfort zone at the biggest moments. Because it worked for them up until ‘now’ and they don’t have to think about it.  You would think people would know this but here we are.  His so obviously wack unorthodox mechanics screamed to me that a rebuild would be necessary and that the single biggest reason I was so opposed to taking him.  It plays out all the time. He is in and out of what Canales tried to train him to do. That’s what the emphasis on 1 2 3 plant throw was about last offseason, as much as it was about getting the ball out quicker. But it is all connected.  You just can’t get the ball out that fast with his old routine, slows you down.
