Learning to Win is PAINFUL - We were used to excuses with Fox - No Moeeee.

Phew - Learning to win is PAINFUL.. admit it - remember the old Fox days where this would be another sunday.

We would get a speech of winning at least 3 games per quarter - bla bla bla.

Na - those days are gone. All across the board yesterday Chicago had a stronger roster and when the opportunity presented itself they were going to capitalize it. Unfortunately hoping field goals will do it wont work.

Their x factor has and will always be their defense. Our x factor yesterday was Hurney was gone and everyone is living one play at a time. LOVE IT.

Cam didn't have to say a damn thing yesterday - His work is done. Loosing is Unacceptable and boy did the Big cat get that message across.

What you saw yesterday was the result of a change in mindset, attitude and i guess you can call it the Cam effect. :) all around from management to fans. No more of that fox It is what it is B.S

Sad painful thing though is that well need more than what we had yesterday. We need more talent - we need more gutting of the roster and God please i hope they give Ron one more season to build up the defense and add actual wide receivers that can play.

Winning takes time, talent and learning from mistakes. Cam and Ron are tied together i hope they will continue that journey where you have failure to go back to on your way to success. Sounds vague but throwing in some new coach in here really wont cut it. Cam and ron get each other and they are bonding over loses and its through that you learn to win and grow. Ever watch Brees and sean during their superbowl season - minus all the bounty crap they grew up with each other overtime and theres nothing more to love than that and they rewarded their fan base with a winning superbowl season no matter how many asteriks you place on that - Hey they did what they had to do. :)

Go panthers.

    • Most teams OLs are dealing with injuries at the end of the season. So by that token all QB play should be horrific across the board, but it's not.  Using the OL as an excuse anytime a QB plays bad is just lazy.  This is the same OL when Bryce had his good games not so long ago.  So do they suck just when Bryce does bad? Obviously they played well enough when y'all were doing your victory laps and saying 'you told us Bryce was the man' in the victories. It goes back to my stance with Bryce all along...he's a low end starting QB.  He'd be a great backup. Bryce is going to have a few really nice games a season at this point in his career, with a few WTF games mixed in, but very middling overall.
    • Good Lord! I bet the O-line play wasn't the worst since 1980.  And @thebdawg, injuries absolutely can make for a bad showing at the end of the day. That's not an excuse, it's just a fact.
    • Defense stepped up after that and held them to a FG. Offense proceeded to turn it over on downs right after.  Was it an incredibly dumb penalty, of course it was. The defense played their asses off though and got zero help from the offense. If you force them to punt at that point instead of the penalty do you really think the offense does anything differently?
