Because he is sexy,and the media (mostly men),hates Cam because the female reporters love his dimples and his pretty smile.Cam is a sex symbol and he has his own clothing line.So I come to the conclusion that the media is jealous of Cam because of his sexiness.

Ace Boogie,be swaggin on these fools.

The media does not hate Cam...they love him because he gives them something to talk about.Cam has put himself in this position to be scrutinized .The media does not like or dislike players as you and I do .Cam has put himself out there.....they jumped on the Cam does no wrong bandwagon last year and Cam can do no right this year.

Thank goodness we are not in New York

Cam cant act like Tom Brady, hes not white. If Cam yells at his linemen or cusses out his QB coach on the sideline after throwing an INT in the ebd zone, no one will praise him for it or dismiss it as leadership. Cam needs to act like Cam and help us win some games. The rest will work itself out.

Its not a race thing.

Brady gets away with it because of the rings on his finger. Not because the color of his skin.

Young QB's are under the microscope. Ryan Leaf and Derek Anderson were both blasted by the media for their behavior, warranted or not.

How a new QB deals with the league is a story the media likes to follow. They like it even more if they can put a negative spin on it and get more article views.

Not just young QB's. Jay Cutler is never brought up in conversation without his attitude being brought into the equation. Sure Cam is getting a bit of it now, but it has followed Cutler his whole career and rightfully so.

I was under the impression that most members of the media are pissy because Cam blew up last year and remembered how they had treated him during his time at Auburn. Instead of going out on a media blitz, he turned down a lot of interviews and kept on performing. Now that he's not getting the pretty statistics (or those all important W's) they can take shots at him.

Also, it's absolutely vile that KT is still allowed to post his hate-mongering filth. Shame on those in charge for not sweeping that trash out of here as he should have been a long time ago. It makes no sense that GOATCam gets banned for being obnoxious, but this bigot doesn't? Who is he blowing at the top to still be posting here? It's got to be a white dude seeing as how salty he gets.

      Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.

      Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
