The real reason why the media hates Cam.

Panthers Nation

I hope you are perpetually drunk. At least then you would have an excuse. If not....well there is just no fixing stupid. And you my friend are broken beyond repair.

They really hate him because he's black and doesn't try to act like some house ******

Post #5, where race was brought up.

I'll accept your apology. I can't force KT to accept it though. I wouldn't if I were him.

Inside info:

My buddy stays in the same building as Cam,and he said that NFL Network reporter Stacy Dales was seen going into Cam's room the night before the game.Just another reason why Cam be swaggin on fools.

This was Week 2,the Nat'l tv game vs the Giants.

It appeared she wore him out by his play but I am sure it was worth it

Newton and the Panthers need wins.

They need them starting today.

Whether meaning too or not, Newton set a table of expectations with his 'Superman' celebrations that his team and himself cannot yet serve on that table and there is nothing the media likes more than a perceived 'out of control ego'.

I wanted Newton here. Given the option was Jimmy Clausen and the QBs available that year, the Panthers had no choice.

I believe Newton works very hard at his craft and maybe some day we will see the flashes from last year, would be great if it started today; but, lately Newton has been as much of the problem as the solution and i hope that does change and I hope that is just the normal maturation process in year 2.

It would be nice too, to see the Newton from last year, with that broad smile and confidence. There are times when he looks like a robot out there now, like there is any place he would rather be and he gives an aura that is not good. Like others, I'm also a little concerned that he didn't exactly get a ringing endorsement from Bell during the YouTube conversations last week.

I don't want to be called a racist for these views. I would say the same thing about any quarterback who did these things.

Leadership is hard to define; but, if most people are honest, we know it when we see it regardless of color and regardless of industry. I would be less than honest if I said I am not concerned about Newton. Success has come very easily for him athletically. Now, he is in a league that all are just as big, just as fast, and want nothing better than to lay out 'Superman'.

My point is simply if he can't lead naturally with raising up his team mates, then lead naturally by making a play to win a game instead of a play to lose a game.

I can say these things too because I financially and emotionally support this team,

I believe someone was talking about the defense 'not having any signature wins'. I say, where is the 'signature wins' from the offense led via our #1 draft choice. Coaches can be blamed for many things. Other things are squarely on the players.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
