Denver #1 in sacks allowed and QB hits...can the Cats get to him?

The Manning Brothers went into this week as the two least sacked quarterbacks in the NFL.

There must be a genetic predispositon to unload the football or something...

Anyway, Eli got dropped twice while Peyton went unscathed, so entering next week Denver will have surrendured the fewest QB sacks and QB hits in the NFL this season....

Can the Panthers dial something up to get to him??? Is the front good enough to get there without the blitz?

I believe Rivera lead defenses have had success against Peyton in the past. I suspect our defense will be prepared; as they have been the last few weeks.

If the front 4 have another big showing, we have an excellent chance to win this football game.

Will be interesting to see our players knowledge of Fox' schemes vs. Fox knowledge of our players nuances. I think we'll be able to hit him a few times. Maybe not sacks, but a few good licks would be nice.

I think yes. 2 sacks sounds about right, especially if we're leading and he's pressing. As well look out for some Ints our way. That Bengals game today, he got away with 2 really potential Ints, which the both dbs dropped, right from their hands.

Peyton gets rid of the ball so quickly that it's very difficult to sack him. One key might be to bump their receivers off the line to disrupt timing. Make him hesitate those 2 seconds more and CJ, Hardy and crew might be able to get to him.

As Maine pointed out, RR probably already has a defensive game plan in mind based on his prior success against Peyton.

he finds an open man almost instantly and gets rid of it. It will be hard to get to him before he releases the ball. I think Hardexanderson will will get a few sacks between the 3 of them.

Decker and Thomas are two very good receivers as well which means another big test for Norman and co. Our ability to get pressure on Manning will determine this game. I think we should be able to contain Mcgahee.

Out of all the teams left on our schedule this is by far the hardest, IMO. Our secondary is so young they will get eaten alive by Peyton's audibles. The only chance we have is if we completely dominate the line.
