Which coaches will get canned the Monday after last game?

I would say:

Dallas

Philly

NY Jets

KC Chiefs

My Darkhorse:

Tennessee

New Orleans wan't fire their banned HC. He's in the last year of his contract this year. They simply won't renew his contract. It wouldn't surpise me that they make their interim HC as HC.

I think Norv Turner, Andy Reid, Romeo Crennel & Ryan have run their course.

Carolina will make some changes to their coaching staff after the season. But will wait until they get a new GM to change HC. IMO

I think the owner of the Titans expected better showing this year from his team. (Just look at their divsion.) And fire their HC.

I believe Dallas will work a deal (draft pick) and Payton will be the next Cowboys head coach.

Dallas doesn't have to give anything but cash to Payton at this point. The NFL voided his contract a couple of weeks ago, I do know that the Saints were granted permission to sign him a few days ago. IMO, he's not going anywhere. What solid HC would want to work for control freak JJ?

The only way I see it happening is if Jones offers an obscene amount of money($12M+ per).

JJ will.

Payton was an assistant in Dallas for a couple seasons and plus he has a home there. I believe his kids attend school in Dallas. I maybe wrong about that but i believe it caused a big stir among Saints fans. Payton loves Texas.

Payton does have a house in Dallas, but it's probably going to his wife in their pending divorce.

I would agree if JJ was waiting for a chance to get SP back, this would certainly be it.

    • BPA in draft all the way. Address your biggest needs in free agency.
    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
