But Chud doesn't seem to learn from the past....

He has Cam throwing WAY too many comeback routes toward the sideline. Cam throws ropes and they they almost get picked every week.

Those are the routes Asante Samuel has made his name on.....

Thats all on Cam though. He has to know not to throw that.

Cam has limited audibles.....and if Chud runs that all game and that is the only route that looks open he will throw it.

That is on the OC. Can't pin it on Cam that defenders are going to opt to gamble and try to jump them....Chud needs to use that instead of playing into it each week

But Cam can run, or throw it away. He doesnt have to throw those balls. I agree the play calling sucks, but Cam isnt a tool that has to stick with whats called. I cant pin a bad throw on Chud.

Well it gets frustrating when plays are continuously called that dont seem to be working, so its easy to get impatient and try to force something. Not saying its correct, just saying what happens.

sooner rather than later, the reason why something happens becomes an excuse for why something happens.

ultimately, cam has the last say as to what happens to the football.

Ok i dont really get what that first part is supposed to mean, but yes you are right about cam having the ultimate say so, and lately it seems like he gets it.

My point was.....all INTs aren't poor thrown balls. Cam can throw a GOOD ball to a route that looks open. If a defender thinks he knows the play call he can abandon parts of his duties and try to jump a play......

Cam isn't throwing bad balls on those near picks.

Chud is predictable after his opening scripted series.....he is predictable doing what Samuel feasts on

QBs get too much credit and blame.

You ask Cam to throw good balls to what appears to be open routes......and if predictable a good defender will just ignore his duties and jump the play he knows is coming.

Some picks are defenders knowing a play more than bad QB play. Add in weak WR play (which we will have opposite of Smith....WRs not being savy enough to know you actually have to comeback and attack those balls) and you easily could be setting people up for failure as a OC

    • Jeremy Fowler draft intel on the Panthers: “Carolina was high on Proctor. If he somehow slipped to 19, he was a viable option.” “Caleb Lomu was on the Panthers short list too.” “Panthers weren’t totally comfortable with Stowers there at 49.”   https://x.com/panthersontap/status/2049827264972353727?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
