WOW, the Chargers game could have HUGE draft implications.

A lot of things could happen after this Sunday's game. For instance. Say we beat the Chargers, this could happen. The Lions and Cardinals both play each other and both have 4 wins. The good news is, we would hold the SOS tiebreaker over both teams. The bad news is, if we win we are already guaranteed to fall 2 draft spots automaticially. A. Either the Cards or Lions will move up and B. Chargers hold SOS tie breaker over us so they would also move ahead of us, as a result we drop to the 7th pick.

But it doesnt end there. If the Titans lose to the Jets they would also move ahead of us, so now we drop another spot to pick number 8. Wait, there is still more. Cleveland currently holds SOS tie breaker over us, they play the Redskins and if they lose, you guessed it they also move ahead of us, Panthers then fall to number 9 overall pick. But wait, there is more...

The Saints also hold a SOS tie breaker over us, so if we win, they lose. We now pick 10th. The pain doesnt end there. The Bills, yep you guessed it, hold SOS tiebreaker over us as well. If they lose to the Seahawks and we win, we are now sitting at pick 11.

So to sum this up, if we beat the Chargers it is a real possibility we fall allllll the way to number 11 in the draft. Oh, lets not even start to think about the Dolphins losing to the Jags and the fact they also hold SOS tiebreaker over us which in turn would drop us to the number 12th pick. I mean they cant possibly lose to the Jags, right? RIGHT?!?

Im really torn. One win and we all but guarantee to miss out on Star Lotoulelei and Joekel, on the bright side im a big fan of drafting Keenan Allen or Lewan and i could see both of them being there at 12-15

Going all Natalie Imbruglia on us Alan

    • It is entirely possible to defend your point without calling a bunch of people "tards".  Bryce Young sucks.  The vast majority of football fans acknowledge and accept this, especially on this site despite the very few who may argue otherwise, and even then, I find it is more in a "cut him some slack" kind of way and not a "he's the future of the team" kind of way. At the end of the day, if you look hard enough on the Internet, you are always going to find takes that drastically differ from what you perceive to be the truth.   And nobody who's football opinion is worth listening to has argued Bryce Young is the MVP.  Again, that is an example of you looking way too hard on Twitter, assuming that is something you have actually even read.
    • Bryce's Career To Date passing yards by games. Includes two games he did not start but played. 2023(179.8/GM) Less Than 100: 1 101-150: 4 151-200: 6 201-250: 4 251+: 1 2024(171.6/GM) Less Than 100: 3 101-150: 1 151-200: 3 201-250: 3 251+: 3 2025(173.8/GM) Less Than 100: 0 101-150: 4 151-200: 3 201-250: 0 251+: 1 Percentage of Games Less Than 100: 10.5% 101-150: 23.7% 151-200: 31.6% 201-250: 18.4% 251+: 13.2%     So, in 2/3 of his career games played he is under 201 yards passing.
    • It works very well it’s just frustrating because it can win enough games to keep those three coaches employed even when they don’t innovate or ever make a decision that doesn’t come from a chart. If they weren’t so robotic in their decision making they’d be in the top tier of NFL coaches.
