We need to take a WR in the 2nd

^^^ u think a wr in this draft could slide like wallace and be good deep threat???

i really like the WRs that could be had in the 2nd round. they all seem to offer deep threat ability with Darick being a more complete WR. but Terrance Williams, Cordarrelle Patterson, Justin Hunter, Deandre Hopkins, all seem to be able to get vertically up field to make plays.

Yes to a WR at some point. No to Rogers. He's a bad kid.

What did he do that's so bad you'd call him a bad person? Smoke some weed? Or am I thinking of someone else? Everyone makes mistakes, to straight up call someone a bad person is a pretty serious claim. There's not too many people in the whole NFL I'd say that about, Roethlisberger, maybe Haynesworth. I wouldn't even say that about Vick, just a dumbass that made dumbass mistakes.

    • One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
    • People are also jumping to the conclusion that Darnold would have figured it out here. I very much disagree. He needed a place where he could be a backup for a while with no pressure. So all the pining over him was pointless. Highly unlikely he would do anything but continue to fail had he stayed here. The one that got away was Baker. He was not as bad as he seemed here. He was always a good player but we were a two bit, middle of the road college program grasping at straws. Had we invested the time in Baker that we have done for Bryce, history would have been quite a bit different. To what end, who knows? Doesn't matter. There are a million hindsight stories that are very unkind to this franchise. There is no one that is more significant than the other. It is what it is.
    • He’s a serviceable starter for us that doesn’t cost much. The reason he doesn’t cost much is that he has flaws, one of which appears to be catching the ball.  It would be good to have a better corner opposite JC but he’s not at the top of the list when it comes to people we need to upgrade.
