You're getting close to being a Taylor Swift. JK bro dont get mad

I don't have a particular favorite, I just post info on prospects that we could be drafting.

I'd say my favorite player right now would be Jonathan Banks.

All the teams I listed above doesnt have none of the player you listed as a NT on their Depth Chart. Dont just go assuming based on their height and weight that they're a NT and not an UT. Brockers is simply an UT due to his athletic abilities and quickness off the snap. With his physically gifted size, he's able to command double team and stuff the run so most of the time it look like he's a NT.

Suh and Roy arent no NT either. You gotta be kidding me. All Suh does is bull rush and create penetration through olinemen. You cant tell me that a person with 20.5 sacks in three season is a NT and not an UT. Nick Fairley has a better chance of being a NT than Suh.

How do you know that Richardson will get push around in the NFL? Are you just assuming that just because of looking at his size? Geno Atkins is way smaller than Richardson and that man hold his ground damn well. Fua looks to part but that guy cant hold no damn ground as of yet. Gotta see the man first because thinking that he'll get push around in the NFL.

I may be wrong, but to me a NT is a guy who holds the point of attack. A guy that can take on multiple blockers and not get pushed around. An UT is a quicker guy that relies on his speed and technique to create penetration. An UT doesn't hold the point of attack. The job of an UT is to avoid blockers so they can create pressure. The job of a NT is to occupy blockers. By that definition Suh, Roy, Brockers definitely are not UTs. I don't go off depth charts exclusively, they're often wrong or just incomplete must because one says a guy is "DT" doesn't mean he doesn't fill the NT role. Without checking, I'd guess these depth charts aren't listing these guys as "UT"... And I didn't say that Suh and Roy are NTs. I said they're not UTs. They can hold their ground and don't just speed pressure. You can't just go assuming because a guy has a bunch of sacks he's an UT. Haynesworth had a bunch of sacks too and he certainly filled the NT role.

And I didn't say I know Richardson will get pushed around, I said he looks like it. I don't say anything based off of just measurables. I said that based off watching all the YouTube videos of him I could find.

Completely agree with everything you said.

I dont get how Jawny is thinking that Suh or Brockers and even Roy are NT. They're simply UTs who can hold the point and collapse the pocket like you said above.

Geno Atkins is another guy that is smaller but has great lower body strength.

UTs that can hold the point are not UTs. UTs try to split gaps to create pressure. They don't hold the point. DTs and NTs hold the point.

NT is a position on the line, the zero, not a job description, per se. A true NT is someone who covers the center traditionally and that's why a lot of guys like Ngata go to 34 teams, due to the alignment.

When I think of dominant UT's Darnell Docket comes to mind in AZ at just 290, but you rarely see him not doubled or run away from.

Do any of you guys at least watch some Rams game? Brockers is having a very good year for the Rams with the time he's getting.

Oh I'm not saying I was right, that was just my impression of them at the time. Now Gabbert I was right about haha. Hello The Golden Calf of Bristol.

I like Banks too. Didnt you make a Dee Milliner thread? I might be mistaken.

Yes I did, and every thread I make on a prospect doesn't mean that's who I want. Just getting names out.

Milliner will probably be out of our reach but banks is just as good.

Yea, I know, but it's easier to type "NT" than "run stuffing middle plugging DT". I don't care if our next DT is 250 as long as he can hold the point and plug the middle. I just don't happen to think Richardson is that guy. To elaborate on my position a little, I had roughly the same opinion about Kuechly (good player, not what we need) last year but grew to appreciate him.
