Um, we have had a offensive coordinator that does not like to run ball. He didnt last year and he didnt this year. And when he did it was the read option bull poo that screwed up the entire offense the first half of the season. Since we have been back to a conventional offense D Will has produced. The Qb has been the leading rusher the last 2 years and thats more a fault of D Will???

And we need to give our coaching staff what they want....if Chud is back give him what he wants.

Past 2 consecutive years the best rushing attack in the NFL has featured a stready mix in of read option. It works. We still use it consistantly just not full retard.....only get noticeable dialed backed in games Cam gets gimpy bc of hits.

Also, last 6 weeks during the "conventional" stretch.....Newton has lead us in rushing 4 of 6 games.

Don't need to waste money on RBs unless we are going to play ball where they are featured. Cam Newton pretty much kills that regardless of coach

And after watching him go down again today you SHOULDNT be okay with this. This team needs to get back to running ball with RBs and a line that can block and not put Cams body at risk so much. Its not a philosophy you want to depend on just nice to have in your back pocket. Read option either pays off big or back fires HORRIBLY. You should know that. Regardless of whether we keep D Will or get rid of him we are still paying RBs a lot of money to do much of nothing.

With the O-line play lately Cams been more likely to get injured standing in the pocket than trying to run it

He hurt his leg passing.

We need to invest in our OL. Protect Cam, aid the pass and whoever runs the ball.

What we did paying all these RBs was dumb. Would be dumb if you were building around any franchise QB. Dumber one who naturally produces on the ground.

We can pay big money to a RB when Cam isn't a young man.

Newton is what he is. Embrace it. His legs are part if the deal. Strip that away and the unique mismatch he gives....he wouldn't be special. Give him help where he needs it. D, OL, WR....try to win as much while he is in his window of being a freak. He will never be Peyton.....no point in limiting what he is.

None of that means don't run RBs. None of that means make Cam the primary runner.
