actually...it was ultimately fox's decision to not be on board with richardson's ultimatum to he and hurney to purge the team and go young if they didn't produce back to back winning seasons after 2008 that got him fired.

fox would still be here if he had decided to play along.

can't really blame him for sticking to his guns. he's following the same path in denver that he did when he first came to carolina...and it's paying off big time.

In fairness, having Peyton doesn't exactly hurt.

Fox and Hurney never seemed to buy into the 'franchise QB' model. I'd definitely say Fox does now.
