Can I ask you why you dislike Reid?

I just find him severely overrated. DBs from LSU instantly get recognition just because of the name. Reid was a good college player, and is attractive to some because of his big hits. That will not be the case in the NFL. He takes terrible angles and very risky hits in the open field that will result in missed tackles.

He is not the guy I want in the last line of our defense.

Do you think he should go back for his senior year? For polish?

Nah he'll do what every LSU player does and jump to the NFL when they realize how much money they'll make.

I'm pretty sure all the LSU defenders have declared.

I just think that jones will be average at the next level. It depends on where he lands and what position he plays, but I certainly don't want him.

Allen's injury scares me and he lacks explosiveness and speed. He could be a good slot guy but I want a #1 receiver.

His value lies in his versatility. He could save a roster spot.

So, I'm late to the party. What's wrong with Hankins?

Obviously a little behind with a Jerel Worthy avatar lol.

He has no pass rush, strictly a run stuffer. His motor isn't very high so he'll sub every couple plays. Has nagging injury history. Definitely not worth a first round pick.

lol Easy with the Worthy avatar! I only really log on for the draft talk every year, couldn't be assed changing it from last year lol

It's interesting what you said about Hankins. I've watched 2 game tapes and it was heaven and hell; he was hella inconsistent. He does seem to be fast enough to rush the passer when he feels like it. I'll have to watch more tape to get a better idea of him.

The DT class this year is pretty intriguing. Star and Sylvester WIlliams are both athletic FREAKS, ala Poe, only they've actually produced on the field. Richardson also reminds me a lot of Cox coming out of last year. With DT prospects like these, I think a lot of the other guys will get pushed down either way. If you're right, Hankins will be one of the first victims. Jenkins I think will drop even lower.

Bjoern Werner, DE/OLB, Florida State

Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan

Mike Glennon, QB, N.C. State

Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU

Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame

Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson

Robert Woods, WR, USC

Da'Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee Tech

Bacarri Rambo, S, Georgia

As you can see, I'm not a fan of this supposed "deep WR class." I feel like the best WR's in the draft are Cordarrelle Patterson, Quinton Patton, and Stedman Bailey.

I'm baffled by all of those highlighted, Doesn't make sense not to like them. But hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

DeAndre Hopkins - Put up big numbers because he played across from Sammy Watkins

Gio Bernard - Cannot stay healthy

Manti Teo - Part of Notre Dame/ESPN hype machine; Exposed when had to play Alabama

Geno Smith - Being hyped because he has similar physical traits to Cam and RGIII/ESPN needs a QB to hype

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
