Eddie Lacy!

Awesomeness!!

Can Stew even walk anymore? I think we should get rid of Stew this offseason. D Will can play 5 more years. The new OC should (better) focus on pounding the damn ball. Lacy is better than Ingram and TR. He is a train, going at the speed of light. I love it. We need balance on O. If we can keep our D off of the field, it doesnt matter how bad it is. Roll tide!

Bwood, you and Carolina Chuck seem to be vying for the NFL draft forum "golden weiner" award, in that you two always try to slap all views but your own down. Nobody on this forum is remotely close to being correct at this juncture, so live an let live. Probably what the guy meant about internet tough guy.

We do have an issue in the backfield, in case no one is looking. DWill contract too hefty to trade or cut. Plus he is the more durable one. Stew is a little younger and might even foster a trade. Bottom line, we cannot afford and do not use either enough to warrant the money given. Another thing, just for drill, Lacy with the second rounder would cost faaaaaar less than Stew. Not that I am for this, but just don't be so quick to crap on all who show up with an opinion.

NY Giants did not keep all the RB's and pay them big bucks, so change might be on the way.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I laugh in your face!!!! I laugh at every post you ever make now because all I will ever be able to think of is that post when I see your name next to a post hahahahaha!!!!

You are the ONLY person in the world besides a raging Alabama fan that would want this to happen. Like please please please tell me you're trying to be funny, PLEASE.

Waste a fugging 1st maybe second round pick on a decent running back when we have CAM NEWTON, JONATHAN STEWART, DEANGELO WILLIAMS AND MIKE TOLBERT!!!! Are you fugging kidding me?!?!?!

I don't know if you noticed, but the fugging leading rusher for rookies and second in the NFL was Alfred Morris!!!! An undrafted rookie!!! What about Bryce brown from the eagles??? Or the dude that tore us apart on the giants??? Were any of them 1st/2nd rounders??? You can have success with a fugging undrafted rookie these days if you have a good offensive line LOL...

I really hope you don't even respond man, because if this is truly your opinion, than you are not someone I would ever want to talk football with in my entire life. I would rather sit in silence for the rest of my life with pencils shoved in my ears than talk one bit of football with you.

Absolute disgrace.

Also with Stews contract he is impossible to get rid of, it would hit the team for over 20 million on the cap . Unless i completely misunderstand his contract.

But if we were looking for a running back we need a speedster not a bruiser.

    • The difference is about how much player input is allowed and encouraged in the decision making process. Top down teams tend to dictate to players how everything is handled. Disagreements are handled by the coach and players are expected to do what they are told regardless of what they think or feel.  Players are perceived as commodities to be used until we find better. In player led teams player input is encouraged and valued. Players and especially leaders are expected to settle their own disagreements and be accountable to the team but mostly to each other. Players are family to be appreciated and supported in their growth. Is the reality of football the same in both? Yeah there are limited positions, football is a business and winning is the bottom line. Coaches get final say and run the program because that is their job. But in player led teams they feel valued, appreciated, part of a larger whole. Most people who have worked at multiple jobs know exactly what I am talking about. When players try to run the show and don't value  coach input that isn't a player led team, that is a circus which we surely are familiar with in our past.
    • For our pics and trades tonight and tmrw.  Remember, Aho was a 2nd rounder and Slavin was a 4th rounder.
    • Seems to be the consensus from the talking heads. I really wish we had double dipped at center in the 2nd round. Sion will never play in the league.
