I Dno but I hope Atlanta win the Super Bowl so they'll open the season on Thursday night and no other better team for Atlanta to start out the season with than our very own Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers!

Oh god no. One playoff win for them was enough. Sooner to the basement of the division for the dirty birds the better.

Either the Patriots or Falcons winning the Super Bowl this year is the absolute last thing I want. They're both vile.

They wouldn't open with us vs. the Falcons. It would probably be them and some top NFC squad.

I don't really care at this point. Hate them as much as the aints but they're a good team. None of us died when the aints won it. We're not gonna die if the Failcons win it. It'll only show how good and tough this division is

Failcons 2013 home opponents are: Car, Atl, No, Sea, NE, Jets and Was.

Only team that can beat us for the spot is Sea for a rematch of yesterday game or NE if they meet in the Super Bowl and want a SB rematch. Other than that we have CAM.

    • After some of the calls last year probably won't see much of a drop off
    • https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48344034/nfl-begin-hiring-replacement-officials-given-state-negotiations-nfl-referees-association   Honestly fug these refs and their union. Resisting changes that would actually incentivize good performance and not seniority based systems. What a bunch of donkeys. Hope the replacements straight up take their jobs and never give them back. Sick of watching refs script games with no repercussions.
    • Donovan seems like highest risk to me. Lloyd and May have already established relationships with all these kids. There’s probably guys hitting the portal that they recruited from HS. And then there’s the possibility of transferring their own guys from their current teams. They’ve also been recruiting the HS kids for like the next 5 years already. Look at the Iowa coach who hit the ground running by transferring all his guys from his D2 program. Or going across sports to Cignetti transferring all his JMU guys year one then building off that to a national title year 2. Donovan is starting from square one having been in the NBA so long and he’s already 60. So you’re potentially punting year 1 for a guy you are just hoping to be a 10 year hire while you figure out how to actually develop your next home grown 20yr guy. That’s 1/10th of the time you have him, more or less at best. The hope would be that he would find some high level assistants who have been working the college recruiting trails already, but then are you giving up his ideal staff just to get a foothold in recruiting and transfers. Think Belichick year one was bad? Imagine how much worse it would be without Steve Belichicks transfer portal pulls. Hoping Mays or Lloyd are all they’re cracked up to be.
