You get a dual threat MVP caliber player. He is a game changer. With a first round pick, you know what you're getting as opposed drafting a WR who may or may not pan out. This also gives us the opportunity to get back into the 3rd round.

Having Harvin would eliminate the need for other players like AE and Pilares.

Percy Harvin, a DT in the 2nd and get a 3rd rounder, I would say that would be a good draft.

And they did him a huge favor by hiding him, dumping off balls to him and letting his athletic ability take over games. Even though, Harvin has some great speed you rarely see the guy stretch the field. Bc he cant. The only way Harvin can take over a game is by hiding him. When you're "elite", you dont need your OC trying to hide you on the field.

Smitty had a few screens and dump offs but not as many as Harvin in 2012. Thats Harvin's game (dump offs and screens). Smitty was always a deep threat who isnt afraid running whatever route was called for him to run. In 2005, Dan Henning just tried being creative and giving 89 the ball more in different ways. We never had to hide 89 away from the opponents' best cb.

Harvin is a polished out Dexter McCluster. Thats my comparison.
