New logo leaks?

I grew up in Florida as a kid and was a big dolphin fan. Still have some attachment to the team. I think its Ok, but Ive seen some enough bad prototype ones out there that probably scared me into thinking its "OK" wish they left it alone to be honest....I like the Jags unis, those definitely look better...

This is what was supposed to be the original leak. Its a little different than the newer one as far as the colors and sun. Ive been hearing reports that the official one will indeed have an up turned tail.......I think the newer one looks better than this, but that upturned tail is too passive for an NFL logo. This one looks like a sign you see on top of a beach store that sells beach balls and suntan oil....

bring back the helmet

Yeah, its funny how so many Dolphin fans hate the helmet. They say its too cartoon like. So they want the dolphin to look more real.....at the same time, they want it to look aggressive and that's just impossible. If you are going to make a dolphin look aggressive, its not going to look like a real dolphin. If you make it look like a real dolphin, its gonna be too passive of a logo for a NFL team,....at least in my opinion. With that, Im perfectly fine with a cartoon looking logo...Its almost a cartoon situation having a dolphin as a NFL mascot, LOL!

    • And that's the issue. I'm socially fairly liberal, but I'm also fairly fiscally conservative. I could see giving them guaranteed contracts at smaller amounts, but guaranteeing a multi-million dollar contract for someone that has around half a probability of being in the NFL for four years and hamstringing teams' finances is not necessarily something I'm cheerleading.  Admittedly all of this is systemic and possibly even structural at present, but the NFL FOs and NFLPA is going to have to go to the grindstone and figure this stuff out. There is a possibility that there will be some "pain" that we, as fans, are going to have to endure because of it, but hopefully it will be better for us on the other side. I'm skeptical though. There is greed on all sides--agents, players, owners--but the preponderance of the greed is on the owners, and I as a fan am not into them taking more out of my pockets than they already are.
