I'm surprised that there is so much resistance to wearing facemasks. With pucks and sticks flying up in ones face on a regular basis, I'd want to have something there protecting me. If everyone wore one of those, the high sticking penalty would be a thing of the past.

I'm on board 100% with full helmets. Either clear or even full cages like in college.

This is the kind of mentality that has to go. Football got over it in the 50s.

you'd be amazed how damn quickly those fricken things fog up.  Even with all the latest and greatest chemical treatments etc.

 

I'm all for a half shield to protect the eyes.  As for the rest...let's forget about fighting and start calling the stick infractions instead!!

Half shields are fine, I would want my players to wear that.
