i aint gon lie. i didn't jump on board right away. i was just a football fan for awhile, and not of any particular team. when i moved to charlotte for school in '02 it couldn't be helped though. i guess then i was technically bandwagon. after 6 years though i don't think you can call me that.

Unless you've been here since the first game of the '95 season you were a bandwagon fan at one point, the Panthers fan base wouldn't grow without them, I personally did start really watching the Panthers until the '96 season, but I was also 10 at the time and the Panthers were my first Football team period that I have ever watched but I was still bandwagon.

people who aren't die hard fans of a team just like to cheer for someone who wins and who is exciting to watch... sometimes they stick around, sometimes they dont. When we beat the Patty Cakes in the SuperBowl last year, the Giants forum I'm in more than DOUBLED in size lol... all of a sudden there were Giants fans everywhere... was pretty funny but hey, I'm not complaining lol. It's funny, cuz I live down here in Myrtle Beach, SC and when the Panthers game is on, the bars are like half full. When the Giants play, every bar is packed and you can almost never even find a seat. LOVE IT!!

Yeah, new screen names could count for a lot of it. And also, maybe this is the first year they are into football. I don't hold it against somebody when they come to the team. Just as long as they stay and and don't jump from winner to winner. Of course this is just the beginning so might start seeing alot of new fans in the years to come.

panthers fans in the carolinas don't have to go to bars to watch their teams. yankees who didn't like their own state, like yourself, most often have to go to bars or bye the direct ticket. the bar i choose to go to has a lot of bill's fans. they'd all have to spend the 300 or whatever it is to watch the ticket at home so of course its smarter for them to go out. just like you and all the rest of the people who can't get enough of the carolinas.

There are a lot of NYC transplants in Myrtle beach and Hilton Head SC especially HH it's like Florida light over there.

And about half the population of Charlotte is from somewhere other then NC, it's funny actually People realize that the North sucks and move down here and stay.

oh, I agree... living up north SUCKS... i lived there my whole life and I hated it... I love living down here, although it is harder to make a good income. I just miss getting my Giants games lol...

Yea I think there has been a bloom of new fans after the Pwning we gave the Buc's. I dont expect it to go away but grow with every win.
