Excellent article about Star from an Eagles site.

If you want to strengthen the trenches, it is my opinion that Star Lotulelei is the man to get in this draft. When you watch the video clips below notice how coordinated he is, he’s never overextended or out of control. He reestablishes the trenches on almost every play, knocking guys backwards with his ability to snap his hips into contact, popping out of his stance and with his violent hands. He does a good job of extending his arms and using his hands to keep blockers from getting to his frame. And he flashes pass rush moves and quickness. He’s the sort of player who can control people in the run game and get you to third down and then on third down he can push the pocket and force the QB off his spot. Star Lotulelei’s combination of power and quickness is unmatched in this draft class and it is my opinion that he’s going to be a force in the trenches at the next level.]

This is what he said about Kuechly last year, dead on.

yep if only we got another quality dt for rotation :)

That is exactly why the Giants' DLine is so damn good.

Not only do they put talented guys there....but their deep rotation keeps guys fresh all game. Just about the time a typical DLine gets gassed late in the game....they are still rotating guys in.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
