YouTube better than TV?

That's the internet age. Cable and satellite are sorely outdated. Same poo all day everyday.

Most people only watch for good TV shows now anyways, and you have plenty of options for that.

This is true. Once it becomes as easy as just turning on the TV, cable/satellite will fade fast.

I go to Youtube for sneezing pandas and have never equated it as a TV replacement.  Other sites that have streaming episodes/movies, sure.  I even use my googletv and appletv to stream those sites to my TV.  But youtube is just a replacement for America's Funniest Videos for me.  Watch it for a few minutes, laugh at dumb stuff, then move on.

Until the cable and satellite companies get their heads out of their asses, sites like youtube will continue to become more popular. Cable and satellite providers are going to eventually have to change the way they offer tv services. For instance, they need to start letting people order only the programming that they want.

My mother has like 200 stations but only watches maybe 5 stations. However, to get those stations she has to buy the expensive package.

Youtube and similar places are definitely the future.

As an 18-34 year old, I also go to the huddle instead of reading books.

I watch youtube more than regular tv. I usually always watch it while I'm at the gym doing cardio, writing the paper, or doing something else mundane. You can't see poo like this on cable television anyways

Im a HD snob...if unnamed streaming websites could get the games in HD then my cable bill ends!!

Also in theory paying for the channels you want is nice but the content providers like FOX(Fox, FX, Fox News, Fox sports etc) or a Viacom(MTV, NICK, VH1, Palladia, Comedy Central?) makes you pay their whole network pkg..or makes the cable, Satelitte company pay for it..

Bc who the hell would buy CSPAN2 or the channel that shows a space satellite? I dont watch golf or racing either..

Low ad revenue Channels like Pallidia (which I like alot) are subsidized by the MTVs and Nicks...sad but ala carte live tv is not a reality yet.

If I could get my sports easily then an apple tv or like sevice will be running my media viewing.

    • Watching Williams last night, guy has an arm and nfl ability  i see no future with Young.  either a player has nfl ability or they dont  cant survive on 20 or less points a game
    • Fowler: Bucs 23, Panthers 16. Baker Mayfield only won a single game when he was an unimpressive Carolina starter, but somehow he’s 5-0 when playing AGAINST the Panthers. For the Panthers to pull off this upset, they’ll need to score at least in the mid-20s. With Tampa Bay relatively healthy following a mini-bye (and Mike Evans’ return is huge), it feels like this will be too tough a task. Kaye: Bucs 24, Panthers 20. The win-loss-win-loss streak comes to an end. It’s hard to trust the play-calling following the loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers know what’s on the line, but they also knew last week, too. It’ll be close; I just have trouble trusting a positive outcome after a defeating one on the road. Zietlow: Panthers 38, Bucs 35. This prediction goes against conventional wisdom, but then again, conventional wisdom doesn’t seem to apply to these Panthers. This group, after all, has yet to lose back-to-back contests since Weeks 1 and 2. I think they win this one to make Week 18 interesting — and yes, that’s even with motivated Baker Mayfield and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in good form. Why not?
    • Sam developed into a different player after he mostly sat for a year and learned a ton by being in that QB room under Shannahan in San Francisco.  Then he went to the Vikings who have a poo load of talent and another genius level offensive mind at HC in Kevin O Connel. I think they genuinely built up his confidence in a way he never did in New York or Charlotte.  He would not have been the same player if he stayed here IMO. Especially if he had been involved in that disaster season with Frank Reich in 2023, that might have cooked his confidence for good.  I guess you could argue we wouldn't have been that bad if we also kept cmc and dj i guess.
