You were asking what is the upgrade here.

Well the Upgrade is a 3rd WR who can catch the ball.

and if he can't stay in the field? Is he an upgrade?

DJ Hackett was a pretty good WR as well...I simply think people need to keep there expectations a little lower. Hixon is decent...but injury plaqued guys in this league tend to remain as such.

Dude. C'mon. If he contributes as we hope, is he an upgrade?

Soo.... You think we should all do as you say. You don't say.

This is the NFL, everyone is banged up. Lots and lots of guys come back from injuries. But if you say so, I will tone down my enthusiasm. Naw, I still believe Hixon is healthy right now, and there is a very good possibility he will help us this year.

I know you are all up in a huff about the scrubs on the depth chart. So I will leave you with this.

To paraphrase Rivera. We are designing plays to get our playmakers the ball. Ginn Jr., Pilares, Adams, and Barner all fit this scenario. Throw in our RBs, and that is a poo lot of guys that can do something with the ball in their hands.

Not every throw has to travel 40 yards.

DJ Hackett? DJ Hackett? WTF? Oh, I get it. DJ was a Huddle fav until he proved himself unworthy. So Hixon is going to mirror DJ? Kind of a dreary forecast, but go ahead and go with it.

The only time Hackett may have been the flavor of the Huddle was before the regular season began. After that, Hackett didn't do poo.  That was the biggest "Psyche!" in Panthers FA history.

WTF

So is predicting him not playing a criteria now in this debate??

I thought we were comparing them as healthy players my bad CRA.

DJ did garner some love, until he couldn't get on the field. You are correct sir. One of the biggest "Psych" jobs in recent memory.

Unlike DJ, Hixon actually loves football.
