It's shocking that so many people took this literally.  He was using hyperbole to make the point that he is looking to have a big and impactful year...one that improves upon last season.  

 

I've seen people elsewhere seriously make the point that he's crazy if he thinks he can get 50 sacks...unbelievable.

You can't criticize someone for SHOOTING for 50 sacks...if he was predicting 50 sacks, that'd warrant some criticism but setting a high goal is admirable if anything.

Not that any of us have criticized him about it, I'm talking more about the haters commenting on the article.
