Am I the only Panther fan that would sign Hakeem Nicks over Hardy?

Ok heres my thoughts on this. One Hardy and CJ had double sack season with little to no help from the DT positions last season. CJ has had more sacks than any DE in the league over the past 3 season once again with a poor DT play. So looking at this, I would expect Hardy and CJ to go off this year.

 

Now do we need to pay Hardy CJ type money...no. Not yet anyways. Did CJ deserve the contract he got...No not at the time. That was a poor move on the team. I say team since I'm sure Richardson had as much to do with the horrible contracts as Hurney did.

 

Hardy has had very little injury issues other than his retarded ass motorcycle accident 2 seasons ago. Nicks has never finished a season with NYG. So locking up a injury prone WR that has not really proven to anyone he can stay healthy vs a DE that has a chip on his shoulder that would compare to SS's. Would be a really dumb move.

 

This is a passing league now and we face each season 2 of the best passing teams in the league. Without a very strong Dline and pass rush, these teams would eat us alive with our weak secondary.

 

People here are so absent minded. Just 3 seasons ago, people would talk about Gettis being SS's replacement... He's bigger faster and taller that Smith. But a knee injury that took him out for the past 2 years has made everyone here forget about what he can become. Now there also AE, do I believe the hype in the mini camp...no. They have said it before in the past. He needs to prove that hes a capable WR... and getting caught from behind on a sure fire TD punt return is not the way to impress me at all.

 

FOOTBALL is won in the trenches (DLINE/OLINE). with out a strong foundation (DLINE/OLINE0 on your team, your team will not win.

Andre Johnson is 32 years old.  Personally I would never get rid of a young pass rusher for a 32 year receiver.  He is amazing but how long do you think he can play at that level?

Brandon Marshall? While a tad mental can sleep walk to 1000+ yards regardless of QB scenario and has physical talent to compare with anyone.

With our front 7....I'd glady part with Hardy for AJ Green. I consider Marshall elite but he is older and mental.
