NFL Replay

i was proud we played hard that day.

One thing though was that we amazingly played at a high level all season without very good DT depth/talent, and that game finally the problem finally showed up. I told my best friend the giants had a HUGE advantage once kemo went down and sure enough they ran all over us.

We're pretty much doing the same thing again with a much harder schedule, lewis and kemo aren't 3 down lineman, i really hope this problem doesn't show up again.

And we still could have won... IN REGULATION

john casey missed a 50 yard field goal that could of won us that game (not saying it wasnt a hard kick) but it could of been made

As I recall there was an opening at that end of the field that allows the wind to blow thru there. One of those Home Field advantage deals.

But after skunking them in the Playoffs 23 to 0 a couple years before they should have done a hell of a lot better than squeaking one out.

I mean watch what happens when we play Arizona this year . . an away game to boot

DeAngelo ran all over them too. Was beautiful.

The wind in the Meadowlands did suck especially in that last field goal. I was so heartbroken to see the wind force it wide...at the very last possible moment. It was cold as heck there...I R popsicle after that one.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
