If we look bad against the Ravens, hit the panic button.

they worked on having fresh legs for the Chicago game ..... The Philly game they all looked like they had heavy legs ... I wonder if the coaching staff pushed them the last couple days of camp to make sure they get in all the work they needed.

Those guys have so much down time during practice in between drills. I couldn't believe how long they just take a knee on the side. Not sure heavy legs is an excuse at this point

I'm mainly worried about Cam missing wide open passes. Preseason or not. He's missing wide open targets. This team is only going to go as far as Cam can take them. It's year 3 for him...i think by now its safe to say hes more of a playmaker than he is a passer....missing automatic completions like that indicate it. And it's not like its anything new

I still think if we are 1-2 at the bye we are in good shape. I don't see us beating Seattle or NYG in my opinion.

People people do you realize that key starters are not playing. Hell we haven't even cracked open are playbook. And why should we when the playbook is designed for our key starters and again its preseason, scrimmage, practice etc. We are working on our weaknesses and trying new things seeing what works and what doesn't. And again it's preseason. Reading this thread you will think we just went 0-16

I heard Mike Minter interviewed just a few days ago on a sports talk show - he said its a myth that the players arent playing their best or are only going 3/4 speed in preseason - he said usually the guys that are the ones hurt in preseason are the ones slacking -

dont kid yourself - if this team looks sloppy and apathetic in our game Thursday night, there is plenty of reason for concern.  Again dont care if we win or lose - but quality of play or lack of it speaks for itself

I see us losing to the Bills and Hawks but beating the Giants. Rivera has shown he is poo preparing for new QBs with little film like EJ Manuel. He will shred us.

You're just taking his comments and spinning them in a way that supports this "sky is falling" attitude running rampant here like usual. Going half speed or full speed, it's irrelevant when we aren't even opening up our playbook.

You guys let your expectations get out of control. We weren't very good last year and we didn't have many resources to improve the team. Expecting huge improvement, with a tough schedule and a bad coach, was probably unrealistic. This will likely be another up and down season.

Quite frankly Rivera has to pull the hat trick to keep his job this year. Lots of things need to go right for him.

If we look flat in that game, I know what the secret Rivera plan is. Here it is,

Cam you're our only hope. Run Cam! Run!

This team will go as far as Luke and the Defense takes us. Once again, you spend your team's limited resources on defense while your offense has holes is an indication where this team wants its strengths to be.

You want an powerful dynamic offense? Fine. Spend draft picks and money on explosive offensive talent, and bring in an OC that known for innovation and production.

But don't spend 0 of the last 5 high round picks (1st or 2nd round) while bringing in no one of note and expect Cam/ offense to turn into the Falcons.
