instead of being 4th and punting it was 1st down because of some bs contact call - anytime you can get a top 3 nfl offense off the field and the drive gets extended because of a call is big, regardless of what you may think. hindsight says it didn't matter because they got the stop after that anyways - but it was still big - unless you're an idiot.

they still stopped them. It was not "huge". it could have been, but wasn't.

Denver has to be at least somewhat happy that their gameplan to stop Dwill and Stew worked to perfection. However, they were hoping Jake would make a few more mistakes than he did. So, how about the 2nd half?

Denver has to stick to the gameplan. With the Panthers in the lead, they will want to run the ball. If they can force the Panthers into 3rd and longs, the opportunities could be there.

OTOH, there should also be many more opps for Smitty and Moose, although I'd like to see Rosario and King involved a bit more.
