Good decision.  I did.  I wish I hadn't.

On a related note: how in the actual fug does this even happen?

i read a little interview with him where he was asked and it didn't even seem like he even knows. he said he had to look back at the game tape and saw some point that he thinks he jammed his hand into the artificial turf in new orleans and he saw himself looking at his hand and then remembered thinking his finger felt numb and seeing a little blood. i guess he just shrugged it off as a jammed finger or something and just kept playing.

how a finger breaks off like that? i don't know.

i made that mistake in watching kenjon barner's toenail get pulled, only he had no warning about it. he just linked the video without any clue what it was.

the bone snaps and pops through the skin. if it's violent enough it will rip completely off.

ronnie lott's finger literally exploded he jammed it so hard. these guys are physical specimens playing at a very fast pace.

    • Just stop, man. All the college stats don't matter. Plenty of guys who put up big numbers in college flop in the NFL and you and I both know that there are 1st round and top 10 busts every year. While we definitely hope T-Mac isn't one and we hope he proves to be a great NFL WR, you can't assume poo about a rookie who hasn't played a down of NFL football yet.
    • therein lies the problem.  Carry on
    • Again, it's not about performance, it's purely a statement about his ability as a football player. Which right now, is better than Chark ever was, I don't understand how that is a controversial statement. This isn't someone who had a 1,500 yard season with a dozen touchdowns while being a threat the other team was afraid of on every snap.  It's literally a guy who had a couple good games and then was just peppered with targets in the others because the team had no other viable WRs and he still barely cracked 1,000 yards, and then was barely even a JAG for the rest of his career outside that one season. Just look at it this way, take names aside, you're saying a guy who's peak was 1,008 yards and 2nd best season was 706 yards, was a better football player at that time than a WR who was just taken in the Top 10 and had multiple teams trying to trade up to get them. That's beyond asinine thinking.  I'm genuinely not even sure Chark would make the argument himself if he was being completely honest and objective about it.
