You're slightly more reasonable then your last response. It wasn't personal to quote yours, you just had the most pertinent information to my response.

Hype is good and they earned it. Unfortunately I'm afraid these two might be heading back to the bench before we can completely see what they are made of.

Mikell deserves to be back in the line-up, but Josh Thomas has not earned a permanent spot.

Its a team D....everyone fills their gaps covers their man and gets pressure on the QB then everyone looks good even though half are average to barely average CBs......gotta love our front 7 but hey we did get a few coverage sacks against the Gaints too....Secondary not half bad though...enjoying what I'm seeing....KEEP POUNDING!!!!!!

Yea. If our Secondary wasn't so bad, White and Lester wouldn't look so good. Er...if we had a decent Secondary...um, ah hellz, damm kids.

Lester played better than I was thinking it would go. Got to give him some props. Same as White. These kids give me hope. I can live with that.

It wasn't an instinctive play. In the interviews after the game, White admitted that Captain and Mitchell called a trap when they saw the formation. Mitchell took over White's man, and Eli had to get the ball out quick and Captain and White doubled the receiver hence the pick. The positive about that is that White listens and understands what he has to do, contrary to Norman.

Nice catch, don't watch alot of post game interviews or pressers, just what I read in tweets and on this board. Like you said at least he knows how to communicate and listen unlike Norman, the pick itself was still a nice play

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
