If Matthews, Lewan and Kouandjio are gone, we should just draft a LT in the second round. There's a dropoff after those three.

Seferian-Jenkins is going in the first. No way he goes in the second. He's being viewed as the next Tony Gonzalez.

 

I agree on not reaching for a LT, think one of those three will be there though. Not so sure on ASJ. He's a talent no doubt, but he also comes with some baggage. I've seen him anywhere from top 15, to mid second rounder which is about the range I see him at. There's a chance (I'll admit it's small) that he could be there when we pick in the second round. I have Ebron and him pretty close though, and would love either on this team....

It's not hate. Luck and Wilson are quite similar game managers. They're both in run first offenses with very strong defense and they're ask to throw the ball about 25 times per game. Nothing special there.

 

I know I told Ruff I wouldn't feed the trolls but forget it. Luck averaged 39 passes a game in 2012, and is averaging 31 in 2013 so yea....not a game manager by any stretch of the imagination....

So what is the Panther's excuse for not drafting Allen?

 

Doubling up on DTs. I like Short, but he was a luxury pick after Star to me.  Yea they don't play the same position, but when you overload in one area you have significant holes/weaknesses in others (see CB/OL/WR).  We would've been much better served to take Allen in the second imo...

The same game you and everybody's watching. Andrew Luck is a glorified game manager like Schaub and Alex Smith. Those types fades from people's memory in a few years and then the team implode and they head to the bench.

Did you miss the 35 yd laser to wayne in the first quarter? If you really think Luck will ever be on a bench...... He will prob be a HOFer one day

Not in this new NFL. Putting the ball up 40 times is now the norm. Watch Phillip rivers operate. The whole game is in his hand from quarter 1 through 4. You can't say Luck win when mothersucka only throw a few predetermined slant. Thrust me, millions are watching the game right now and Luck doesn't pop out of anyone' screens. Heck they barely mention his name even though try so hard to. His best drives has always been against prevent defenses in 2 minute drive.

This offense is so much better suited for Luck than what they were running last year Yes it is a little dink and dunk, but that is what he is good at.

A few days ago you and I talked about Cam, and where he would be at in a WCO. This is truly the WCO.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
