What Ram fans are saying

I was talking about RamsOnDemand. Lets take a quick look...

"Stacy is our version of Emmitt Smith. Consistently picks up positive yardage, eats up chunks of yards and doesn't allow himself to be caught in the back-field often"

"They can't stop the YAC Stacy and the power O anyway."

"Stacy is the man and the run game is here to stay"

"on Bradford to win through the air. I would check your confidence. I wouldn't have full confidence in anything. I don't see you guys shutting down Stacy."

"Doesn't look like it now that Stacy has emerged and SJ remains on the sideline"

"Especially if Stacy continues. If we can run on anyone, and play defense, we have a recipe for MAJOR success."

"Very impressed with what Stacy did to Houston defense. I feel Rams have found there rb"

"Stacy is quite similar to DeAngelo Williams"

"TRich has looked just ok this year. I think I'd rather have Stacy and keep my first round pick, thank you very much."

"I don't think that Carolina has faced a Running Back like Stacy all season. He will challenge them as long as he has holes to hit. He is small and very hard to get ahold on. So far Defensive backs cannot take him down"

I found these quotes on 13 pages of 139 related to Stacy.

Yet not a single reference to AP.  These was the one, misinformed, post saying he'd be the best you face all year and another saying he was our Enima Smith, but without likening his skills to Smith.  So I stand by my rebuttal that "every other post" claims he's the next AP.

Wow, just typed up a long ass post and went to post it to only get that dumbass error page. Lost everything I typed and don't feel like typing it back up.

Just figured I'd share that because it kind of pissed me off. You need to fix that poo Zod.

Happens to me a lot

Carolina is 2 plays away from being 4-1. Sure we have our issues, hence why we are instead 2-3....

But clearly, you don't know anything about the Panthers...

You don't even know the weakness we have you could exploit and instead are picking your weakness against a strength of ours as some key.

If the Rams win it would be bc Bradford comes and plays his lame short pass all day....not allowing your weak run game to get your behind the chains. Realistically, you could do that

Then you would need to somehow magically bottle up our run....to force 3rd and longs to get the chance to apply crazy pressure on Cam. Realistically, you haven't shown such ability

This is really becoming comical.  Lame?  13 TDs &  3 INTs is lame?  What is 9:5?

Haven't shown the ability to show pressure?  Now who doesn't know their opponent?  But don't let facts stand in the way of a good story.

I have now watched the last 3 Rams games. They have a great, not just good bit great, pass rush. But the can't seem to hold an edge on yve D-line as RBs were regularly getting to the outside

Their defense also has been getting turnovers.

Basically take care of the ball and limit obvious passing downs we will be fine on offense.

Their offense is just okay. There is a lot of dinking and dunking, play action with short passes to the tight end, screens to Austin, Pettis is a guy who can make catches in traffic, with an running game that they are trying to commit to. Stacy is okay but if our interior continues to play well Keek will fill the gaps. Bradford accuracy goes way, way down if he feels pressure.

If we can limit their run game, keep Austin from having *** plays, and cover the tight ends I think we will be fine

Most accurate post I've seen on this site.  You hit our strengths and weaknesses pretty well.  The only real issue I see with your analysis is Bradford against pressure.  You said you watched the last 3 games, that would include the game against SF where we schemed ourselves into a corner.  I am not saying Z. Stacy is a HOF candidate but until he was inserted into the game and we went to more of a power run game we were extremely one dimensional and predictable.

Last week against pressure Sam was 8 - 8 with 3 TDs.  I know he didn't throw for a lot of yards but 75% on completion with 3 TDs, 0 INTs and a 135+ passer rating isn't too bad of an outing.  He did not need to throw much last week.  I think you will see a different game plan this Sunday.

Rams will be really good in a couple of years. Those picks from the Skins are should do work.

I'd have to assume they are super frustrated with their QB.

Should be a good game.

If there is one thing I have learned as a Panther fan, it's that we should NEVER be too confident going into a game.

I've got nothing against your QB, but I'd imagine what they're referring to is the short-passing game he employs, granted I don't watch you guys often and only seen one game and part of another this year.  Playing a style like that is naturally going to limit his INTs.

Also, that comparison to Cam is a little unfair.  Cam has only had 5 games to Bradford's 6, and you have to account Cam's rushing since it's a huge part of his game.  That would give Cam 11 TDs in 5 games to Bradford's 13 in 6.

again, it pays to read exactly what is said.

Lame as in it is lame to watch QBs who play short ball.  Boring.  I have already said that lame short pass attack is what gives this D trouble and can be a good thing for you.  You have 13 pass TDs b/c you can't run the football....ZERO rushing TDs.  If Carolina didn't steam roll people near the goalline on the ground and were forced to only do ONE THING....Cam could have inflated passTDs as well.

Two parts, to pressure Newton effectively you have to be to SHUT DOWN THE RUN and get them behind the chains.  Rams have shown no ability to stop the run.  Read....Cam's weakness is when the run gets shutdown and teams get us behind the chains to tee off on him.  You don't tee-off on Cam if you don't make us one dimensional....which again, FACTS show you can't stop the run.  Facts.

The short passing game hangs squarely on the shoulders of our OC.  All of us Rams fans are hoping that changes as the youngsters get up to speed.  Sam actually has very good accuracy on the deep pass as well.

As for the QB comparison the ratio holds true regardless of the number of games.  I agree both are a small sample size and could change drastically by the end of the season however.  I know Cam brings an element that Sam does not, and I know ALL TDs still count as 6 points but I was only commenting on the "lame" QB remark made previously.

boring.  I don't enjojy watching Tom Brady either.....and I have Brady ranked ahead of Montana all time.  The short poo he is doing now is lame/boring.  Doesn't mean it isn't effective.

Bradford has been playing small ball since he arrived...that isn't just one OC.   Bradford can't be excluded from it b/c that is all he has been.

This is exactly what was written "Bradford doing his lame dink and dunk".  Now you may have been implying this type of offense is "boring" but nowhere did you write that.  I'm not sure my reading comprehension is the issue here.

yeah, b/c it is lame.  Your offense can't run (unless you play horrible run defenses), you don't throw deep, and all you really do is dink and dunk to TEs and WRs.  That IS lame to watch for anyone outside of a Rams fan.

That probably is a nice out for you...then you don't have to  try to explain how Stacey is gonna run on us, how you are going to stop our run etc....

You claim such but nothing done on Sundays would back that.
