Defensively we're clearly better than then. Special teams is absolutely better. Offensive, we've found a running game which we didn't have then. Our running game started end of last season and carried over, and we've finally got a deep threat in Ginn

 

Ron is finally learning to play aggressive

 

I don't think we get blown out any game this season, assuming we're healthy. I think all losses are close, but we hand the blowouts in W's with some nice W's

Ron is not going to out-coach Jeff Fisher.

i don't know. jeff fisher has always been a bit overrated.

This. His tenure in Tennessee was much like Foxy's here in Carolina, albeit much longer.

the fact that he hired gregg williams as DC after the saints bounty crap should tell you a lot about his mindset.

well, williams was the DC until he got banned, which was pretty much right after he got hired but well before everyone knew what he had been doing, including fisher who had williams as his DC in TN for a while.

 

they didn't hire another DC last year but they picked up some guy named walton this offseason. aside from picking on the jags and beating on the imploding offense of the texans, they just haven't been all that impressive.

He's minding his manners pretty well now I think, he knows one slip up and he could never coach again.

 

Remember the game last year here in Charlotte against the Saints, with Spagnuolo as D coordinator? Some teams are just dirty.
