This is why I hate Thursday Night Games.

For a league that continues to fine and suspend players, change rules and create new rules all in the name of "player safety" to schedule games 4 days apart is completely hypocritical and stupid in my mind.

 

Speak with the vast majority of veteran players and they'll tell you they're still sore and stiff from the Sunday game.

Speak with the coaching staff who usually is installing the game plan on Thursday, not getting ready to play again that night.

 

Thursday night football games suck balls. We can only hope nobody gets hurt because they're not physically ready to play on 4 days rest.

 

That's been said before and but makes it no less true. The NFL only wants to create the illusion that it's making the game safer. Football is an inherently dangerous sport. There's no way around that. Reggie Wayne and Brian Cushing both tore ACLs on normal football plays last weekend. Similar injuries are suffered by countless players every year. The NFL can't make the game safer, no matter how many players it fines or how many rules it changes. I kinda think the increase in player fines are just ways for the league to make a little extra money off the players while trying to show fans that they are "committed" to player safety.

Our guys were very emotional and it was the most intense crown I have witnessed live in the last 4 years.

I see more emotuons from our players in every divisional game.

Our guys were definitely taunting the rams players into all kinds of mistakes, which was a beautiful thing.

Our guys backed up our qb, which I expect to happen.
