HUGE game!!!  I haven't been this excited or nervous for the Panthers since before the AZ playoff game.

I was not nervous before that game.  I was at that game...and soon in shock.

This game is important.  I am a little nervous...but believe in this team.  I also believe in these coaches.  The thing they seem to do that we did not see before is make adjustments and I think that is huge (would have served us well in 08).

Panthers will win.

Just got finished getting ready and headed down to the Stick here in a bit. Wearing my sweatshirt since I hear it gets chilly in the stadium

Look for me! Left corner end zone toward the Panthers side. Brought that defense/offense banner thing they gave out a while ago so I'll have that

Also drunkenly bet Some guy I met Friday night $50 Cam won't have 3 INT'S today....I mean... their secondary can't be that good.

nfl gameday morning picked 100% 49'rs for the win... Said that we just don't have enough to beat them..

Lets prove the world wrong today..

I was in Seattle last week and met a 9r fan Thursday night at a bar who seemed to not take us seriously, lets hope the team feels the same and then we straight punch them right in the mouth.

I have a weird feeling we are going to run all over them. (yes, even with their defense)

This is coming from a Niner fan...be safe out there.  :)

Please wear some body armor, and I hope you completed your self defense class!

    • This.  He knows where the seam is about to open, cuts, and accelerates hard. He’s slippery and tacklers always seem to be taking awkward angles to get to him. No dancing. Runs low and powerful. Almost never goes backwards for a loss. We’ve rarely had the guy who bounces off of tacklers. It’s nice seeing another one.
    • I can't speak for others but yes I read it. The conclusions are based heavily around the use of the statistical metric DYAR created by football outsiders and used by ESPN for this article. It only includes players whose production began in 2000. But excluding HOF running backs who produced BIG in an iteration of the NFL that was not yet catered to making things much easier for offenses in order for them to prop up more recent candidates is rather absurd and seems like just playing favorites regardless of where one might fall on their opinion of the use of the metric in question.
    • Same thing I first thought but then I saw it was against Jacksonville and took about half a second of playing to know. I was at that game.  I can't tell you my level of excitement when I saw it was Delhomme instead of Peete who came out for the 2nd half. Delhomme has and will probably always be my favorite Panther.
